London Broil Same As Brisket

French Courses - Episode 12

Moving to France - The train

The train is certainly the best way to travel in France between two distant cities. The rail network is well developed and trains are fast. The TGV can connect downtowns of major cities in few hours. This also avoids the caps on roads, very common during the holidays. Thus, from Lille, which is the closest town to the north of the country, it takes one hour to go to Paris. The distance is 250km (two hundred and fifty kilometers). It takes three hours to get to Lyon is 500km (five hundred kilometers) and five hours to reach Marseille, which lies 1100km (1100 miles) in the south.

Unfortunately, trains are frequently late and strikes are part of the heritage National . This week, I took the TGV three times and not once I arrived on time.

In addition, tickets are expensive. To limit cost of a trip, it is better avoid rush hour .

nice trip in France!
