Listed removable media, USB drives and flash cards are nice because light and portable, but absolutely too limited in terms of capacity and too expensive for use as a storage medium to long term .

Clearly it is better to have multiple hard drives and each save documents and files twice. It's redundancy. It a bit of a hard , and more costly than having a single hard disk, but it is also the most reliable and long-term, less expensive because the files can be stored crushed and replaced with newer, like a CD-RW or DVD-RW , but with a reliability coefficient higher.
