MY BOOK OF EUROPE €

"My Book Europe" is available in three books for children and adolescents aged 7 to 9, 10 and 12 and 13 to 15 years. They are an invitation to travel twenty-seven countries of the European Union, a fun and lively trip through the culture, heritage and way of life of Europeans. With many games, quizzes and tests, through the adventures of the young heroes of these books, Children and adolescents can grow and learn about Europe. After this trip, they have discovered everything that connects and unites the countries of the European Union, all that makes us citizens of Europe "united in diversity" to quote the motto of the Union.

This original initiative was established in 2008 under the French Presidency of the European Union. Given the success of this operation, the device is extended this year. The books are available for free download at the following address:
www.moncahierdeurope.education.fr

Furthermore the site offers a special section for parents and links for adults who want to learn more about the European Union.

1.) We set the division. We write the dividend (the number to be shared). Then a vertical line. Then we write the divisor (the number of shares equal) we note that a horizontal line.

2.) We recite the algorithm
In 15 how many times 3?
We choose the table 3 and we see that in 15, there are five times 3. We ask five

- Analysis: Today we examine two sentences, apparently have the same structure.
"Quipic worm devours enormous."
"Quipic a hedgehog is malicious."

In the first sentence, the action verb (eats) has a subject (Quipic) and a direct object (a worm).
The subject (Quipic) and the direct object (a worm) are two totally different things. They are joined by the verb because one is the action (Quipic) and the other is acted (Worm). The worm is not a hedgehog and Quipic is not a worm.

In the second sentence, the verb is "is" has a subject (Quipic) that connects to a "hedgehog". It is clear that "Quipic" (the subject) and a "hedgehog" are one and the same animal.

to remember: A verb condition (to be seem, appear, become, ...) has never been further. Therefore we should not ask the question "who / what?"
A hedgehog: common name of animal, masculine singular attribute of the subject "Quipic. (Without stress).
